My aunt and cousins took refuge from Minamisoma, Hukushima prefecture and now they are living in the flat near my place in Kanagawa prefecture ( south of Tokyo) . In front of the flat, there used to be a thickly-wooded area where one could mistake it as a protected area or so. But recently they started cutting down these well grown trees then an old house appeared in the site. They say that it is one of the villas of the first prime Minister of Japan: Itō Hirobumi's. The house has secret stairs for security in case of attack/raid by the enemy. It is such a historic building yet the landlord is going to demolish the house and cut down more trees. People living near the house will miss the view it used be.
